2022-10-18
According to the Hainan Daily newspaper, local travel agencies have organized tours for tent campers and some hotels in Hainan have organized activities so that their guests can learn more about the island's wildlife during the recent weeklong holiday to mark China's National Day

The city of Sanya on the southern coast of Hainan Island has recently significantly expanded its list of tourist products to boost the consumer sector. This was reported by the Hainan Daily newspaper.

According to the newspaper, the main task is not only to revive the service sector, which has been significantly affected by another outbreak of coronavirus in the past few months, but also to create an atmosphere of even greater comfort for Sanya residents, as well as for tourists who come to the island to get away from everyday work.

For example, during the recent weeklong holiday to mark China's National Day (Oct. 1-7) local travel agencies organized tent tours. Visitors to Hainan had an unforgettable experience at the seaside, where they were offered a variety of local delicacies.

Some of the prestigious hotels in Sanya hold special events, allowing their guests to get acquainted with the wildlife of the island and its surrounding waters. Thus, Atlantis Hotel offers an unforgettable night diving program: tourists can watch fish, turtles, and all kinds of sea animals under the starlight.

Some of Sanya's attractions also offer visitors free admission to fascinating performances by artists and shows with performances by masters of Tai chi ch'üan also called Tai chi, a "soft" martial art also known as highly effective health-improving exercises. There are many ways to have fun in the city, from thrilling rides to attending colorful stage performances in the style of the Chinese people's struggle against foreign invaders.

Sanya is China's leading resort, home to more than 1 million people. In 2021, its gross product reached 83.5 billion yuan (about $13.2 billion), an increase of 12.1%. The city has an average annual temperature of 25.4 degrees Celsius and a coastline of more than 200 kilometers. There are 19 bays and about 40 islands suitable for tourism, all of which enable the local government to successfully develop yacht tourism and beach holidays.
